TWO NEW PROJECTS!!!
Wow! I have been super busy with these two projects...and getting my own classroom set up. But I have been able to complete two different but very vital projects for a friend of mine. These pieces will make the classroom 100 times more functional. Here is what they are: A White Board Holder (custom built in an old window frame) and a Desk/Projector Stand.
Check out the pictures!
This is the White Board Holder. It is completely custom! I started with a frame of plywood, and put a sheet of OSB on to the frame. I mentioned in a previous post that I had been working on this, and was close to finished. But, I got side tracked with my second project...
This is a Desk/Projector Stand. This again is pretty custom based on the needs of the customer. But, it is general enough to where, every teacher that has seen it, wants one! If you don't want the tower, we can just take it off! Its a very simple design that serves a great purpose.
Well, those are my two projects that I've been diligently working on as of late. Contact me if you are a teacher in need of great classroom furniture, that is of quality materials, and at a reasonable price!

Custom WhiteBoard Frame
A teacher friend of mine contacted me and asked for a piece to hold the white board in an old window frame that has been boarded up. I'm currently about 85% finished with this project, and will post pictures when it is installed at their school.

Lectern/Podium
This is my podium or lectern. It is made of birch wood and pine casing. It has casters on the bottom that make it roll easy. Each step is outlined here. These are each piece that makes up the podium. Here are the sides and front put together. This is the podiums basic shape. No trim or casters are on, and no sanding has taken place. Check out the bottom of the podium. I worked really hard to make the joinery tight and look incredible. This is the podium roughly completed. Stain hasn't been applied, nor has it been sanded.
The cool thing is you get to choose the color of stain for your podium. It is not a cookie-cutter design.
Contact me at wade.schumpert@region16.net for pricing. These are custom made so several conversations will be had to get what you want made. A general time frame is about 2 weeks.
